Meeting a need in our community, our volunteers are dedicated to rescuing those who depend on us the most. We work to unite lost animals with their parents and re-home unwanted, unloved companions into the best homes possible. We believe in a world where animals are free from cruel and inhumane treatment. Best Friends And Hens is run by volunteers for its members and the community, and offers a united, amplified voice for all who join our cause.

Advocacy
We are dedicated to stepping up our Advocacy efforts, which is by no means an easy feat. But through cooperation and community involvement, we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. With a vision focused on rehabilitation and rehoming, we foster our animals into loving homes when they are available, to make room to rescue more, and to prepare our animals for their forever home. While they are on the Best Friends and Hens farm, they will get to experience training, socialization, and love like they never imagined. Then, they go home, with people who match them, and the rest is history.

After being abandoned and found sick and starving, sweet Hunny starts to show some great improvement!
Support is Everything
We are just starting out, and your donations are so extremely important right now! We will use them to build a central barn, with kennels attached, giving dogs access to the outside and the inside. A 6 foot fence will surround the barn, covering nearly three acres, giving animals room to explore. Currently we are limited to fostering only, and so many dogs and cats are left behind. Many killed for lack of a better option, many die on the streets. With new facilities, we can make a tremendous difference for those little souls.
